What is Botox?
Botox is the first and the oldest product available on the cosmetic market for the treatment of wrinkles since 2002. It is derived from botulinum toxin, called onabotulinuim toxin A, and is used for removal and softening of wrinkle appearance.
How does Botox work?
Botox works by relaxing muscle activity, which creates wrinkles and/or early lines on the forehad, between your eyebrows or around the eyes.

Where can Botox be injected?

Who can get Botox?
Adults 18 years and older are candidates for treatment. There is no right age to start treatment, but Botox is being recognized as preventative measurement, and if you start seeing faint ines on your face, then you should consider treatment to avoid those lines getting deeper and more prominent.
Can I have bruising after Botox treatment?
At any time, during each injection point, there is a 50/50 chance of hitting a small vessel that will develop into a bruise. Bruising is a possibility, although typically goes away quickly.
How long is the treatment?
The treatment with Botox can take 5-15 minutes to complete depending on the area.
How long will the effect last?
Typical duration of Botox treatment depends on the area and the dose injected. For the most commonly injected areas on the face, the average duration is 3-4 months. Results and duration of effect may vary.
